IVVQ Engineer

Job Description

Introduction:

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this IVVQ Engineer (Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification) position. This position is a contract opportunity which is expected to be Hybrid in Austin, TX for a duration of 6 months or greater.

NOTES:

· Candidates must be located (or willing to relocate) within Austin, TX area.

· This position is Hybrid, with M/W/Th on-site.

· 9am - 5pm (flexible)

Summary:

The IVVQ Engineer will be responsible for writing and performing tests, debugging, and reporting findings. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate/report findings clearly. Problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to investigate solutions and present results in an understandable way

Job Description:

· Writes and executes test plans, procedures, and scripts

· Reviews system requirements and traces them to tests

· Performs system, subsystem, and acceptance testing

· Investigates failures and works with design teams to resolve them

· Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations

· Documents results for audits, customers, and regulators

Qualified candidates would have the following:

· 5+ years of experience validating Windows and web applications using .NET/Java-based platforms for end-to-end testing.

· 3+ years of experience with various validation methodologies (Functional, Integration, Performance, Usability, Acceptance testing).

· 3+ years of experience with common defect management and tools (e.g., JIRA).

· Proven experience with API testing using Soap/Rest protocols.

· Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills paired with strong written and verbal communication to articulate tests, bugs, and results.
