Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
Description
Our Training & Certification (T&C) Products and Services team is looking for an enthusiastic and creative thought leader with a strong background in product innovation to lead our efforts to scale training content creation for technical learning solutions. The role involves defining and governing the T&C learning content model and taxonomy, and building mechanisms, tools, and automation to dramatically increase (5X) the amount of content we can create and deliver to customers faster.

Key job responsibilities- Support business strategy and objectives to identify requirements and resources for complex AWS training initiatives.
- Serve as the single‑threaded owner of the T&C learning content model and taxonomy standards, innovating tools and governance for taxonomy adoption across curriculum development and publishing workflows.
- Develop scaling mechanisms—including processes, tools, and automation—for creating learning content through crowd sourcing and AI content generation.
- Identify existing AWS content sources and define learning products that can be curated at scale by reusing that content.
- Innovate new self‑paced digital learning offerings based on learner needs.
- Manage a product roadmap and lifecycle of initiatives that enhance the T&C learning experience.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand use cases and learning challenges.
- Perform market analyses, usability studies, and research to uncover new innovation opportunities for customer learning challenges.
- Establish goals and review metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success.
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver customer experiences.
- 5+ years of customer‑facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services.
- 5+ years of experience building learning products, software, or services.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical discipline (e.g., information science, computer science, engineering) or 5 years of experience working with engineering teams to develop products or associated data models.
- Knowledge of UX and/or CX design and usability.
- Experience with problem solving and disruptive innovation, developing technology programs, and working across customer organizations.
- Experience owning program strategy, end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
- Experience with Learning & Development and course facilitation or an equivalent professional qualification, or experience in a training role, including technical training, or a mix of training, performance management, and coaching/mentoring.
- Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives, and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization.

CompensationThe base pay for this position ranges from $92,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may include equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits.
