PROLIM () is currently seeking Oracle Database Administrator 2 for one of our top clients.

Remote/Hybrid/Onsite: Hybrid – 3 days remote, 2 days onsite (Monday and Friday) – LOCAL ONLY

Job Description:
Participate in the planning, development, maintenance, and monitoring of integrated database systems
Ensure consistency with structural parameters of the database environment during the design and conceptual phases of new applications
Coordinate database usage to ensure data integrity and control redundancy
Perform data modeling, logical and physical database design
Tune and optimize database performance
Execute procedures for backup, recovery, and security of databases
Install database software and assist with implementation
Monitor database health, support data warehouse teams, and resolve performance and locking issues
Generate statistics and perform scripting for all environments (Production, Development, UAT)
Participate in on-call rotation for production support
Ensure compliance with EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies
Required Skills and Experience:
6 years – Experience in Oracle database design, analysis, and performance tuning
6 years – Experience in Oracle database structures, data analysis, performance tuning
6 years – Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services
6 years – Experience creating technical and functional design documentation
6 years – Experience with in software development Life Cycle using Agile methodology (Scrum, for example)
6 years – Experience with multi-tier system/application development (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications, for example)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
4 years – Experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting features
1 year – Jira experience
1 year – Oracle Certification
