The Work:
The Network Architect will be responsible for the analysis of business and technical requirements, system capabilities assessment, and the design and implementation of innovative network architectures. This position focuses on optimizing enterprise systems and infrastructure, particularly supporting cloud transformation initiatives for the client’s project.

This role will use complex business objectives, conduct cost‑benefit analyses, and identify optimal solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This role will also lead to the design of secure, scalable, and resilient hybrid network architectures that ensure seamless integration between on‑premises environments and cloud‑native services, demonstrating deep expertise in modern, hybrid networking strategies.

• Architect and implement hybrid and multi‑cloud connectivity patterns to integrate existing on‑prem data center networks with AWS services.
• Design secure, high‑performance network architectures that meet compliance, governance, and business continuity requirements.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to enable seamless migrations and optimize network operations.
• Establish network governance standards and best practices to support long‑term growth and evolving enterprise needs.
• Ensure routing, segmentation, and security policies are aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Drive high availability and disaster recovery strategies for mission‑critical workloads.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 8 years extensive experience in network architecture across AWS and on‑premises environments. 4 years of experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions.
• 8 years of experience with strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, and firewall technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).
• Experience in network security principles, including encryption, identity, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in high availability design, load balancing, and failover strategies.
• Familiarity with network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD integration for infrastructure.
• Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

• 8 years of experience with multi‑cloud networking (Azure, GCP) and cloud‑native networking services.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models.
• Exposure to SD‑WAN technologies and network observability tools (Net Flow, Cloud Watch, Prometheus).
• Understanding of cost optimization strategies for cloud networking.
• Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or Azure Network Engineer Associate.
