The Test Operations Lab at AMD is hiring a Semiconductor Test Lab Manufacturing Technician. You have the opportunity to join us on the ground floor of one of the most exciting product portfolios in the industry! There is lots of room for growth in this small but expanding team. The PersonThe ideal candidate has a proven understanding of semiconductor testing and good technical knowledge on equipment and testing documentation. You have experience in equipment verification, repair and problem solving. Though you are independent, inventive and take initiative, you are also a phenomenal teammate with a positive working demeanor. A successful candidate will have excellent project management skills, as well as customer service skills when dealing with contractors and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and support test equipment in System Level Test lab for new silicon validation
- Perform software/BIOS updates for testers as part of day‑to‑day activity
- Debug and troubleshoot electronics circuit boards when test failures occur
- Prioritize tasks based on work order request and support lab operation by working with cross‑functional teams
- Knowledge of test equipment maintenance and following calibration procedures
- Basic knowledge in Linux OS and commands
- Experience with liquid cooling systems
- Background in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics with experience in test equipment setup and maintenance
- Hands‑on experience with tester installation and preventive maintenance
