Neos is seeking a Network Security Administrator II – IAM for a contract role with our client in Austin, TX.
ONSITE – ONLY CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE AUSTIN, TX AREA WILL BE CONSIDERED.
This role requires onsite work 5 days per week at 6230 E Stassney Ln, Austin, TX 78744.

Work to be accomplishedSeeking a skilled and motivated Network Security Administrator II to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This role is responsible for administering and supporting the SailPoint Identity Now and Ping Identity platforms to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant access to TxDOT systems and resources.
Responsibilities- Administer and maintain SailPoint Identity Now and Ping Identity platforms, including configuration, integration, and lifecycle management.
- Assist with onboarding applications to Sailpoint platform.
- Implement and manage identity governance policies, access certifications, and role-based access controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to onboard applications and services into the IAM ecosystem.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IAM-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Support audits and compliance initiatives by providing access reports and documentation.
- Assist in the development and enforcement of IAM standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in incident response and remediation efforts related to identity and access.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a creative thinker to solve issues.
- 7 Experience in identity and access management.
- 4 Hands‑on experience administering SailPoint and/or Ping Identity solutions.
- 7 Experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP), SSO, MFA, and federation protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
- 7 Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Power Shell, Python) for automation and customization.
- 7 Experience working in enterprise environments with complex IAM requirements.
- 7 Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including provisioning, de‑provisioning, access reviews, and entitlement management.
- 7 Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving IAM platform issues.
- 7 Ability to interpret and apply security policies and standards.
- 7 Skilled in collaborating with the technical and functional teams to develop documents needed to support the solution.
- 5 Experience in implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4 Experience with one or more of the state of Texas government agencies.
- 4 Certifications such as SailPoint Certified Identity
IQ Engineer and/or Ping Identity Certified Professional. - 4 Familiarity with ITIL, NIST, or other security frameworks.
