As a Resident Consultant, you’ll be a dedicated Cloudflare expert, directly embedded within our largest customers’ teams. You will serve as the primary technical resource, providing hands‑on configuration and strategic guidance to drive the success of complex implementations. This is a critical role for customers with unique requirements who need a continuous, on‑site technical presence.

• Lead Technical Engagements
  . Serve as a technical lead during the migration, from initial planning to project completion. You will architect multi‑stage migrations, define solution designs and lead discussions with customer stakeholders. After the migration, you will stay with the account as a trusted technical advisor to lead key strategic initiatives.
• Architect & Configure Solutions
  . Design and architect comprehensive solutions tailored to our customers’ needs. This includes some hands‑on configuration work, creating proof‑of‑concept setups, and using basic scripting to automate tasks at scale.
• Provide Strategic Guidance
  . Act as a trusted advisor to help customers understand the long‑term value of their investment. You’ll work with the customer to identify and plan for future strategic goals after the initial migration is complete.
• Serve as a subject matter expert
  . Develop and maintain deep expertise in one or more product domains or industries, including understanding competitive solutions and configurations.

• 10+ years of experience as a technical lead on complex enterprise‑level projects in the cloud networks, web infrastructure or security space.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customer teams both technical and non‑technical.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and web performance.
• Deep expertise in at least one of the following domains: application security, network services, zero trust/SASE architectures.
• Extensive experience in implementing and supporting complex technical solutions, preferably with Cloudflare products.
• A strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and coding languages, including knowledge of AI/LLM concepts.

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan. The estimated annual salary range includes the on‑target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role under the Sales Compensation Plan.

This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
