Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid)
Contract Position: 12-18 months
Join an exciting new initiative as an IoT/OT Security Monitoring Engineer within our client’s Cybersecurity Operations Center. This groundbreaking project aims to elevate the visibility and security of the traffic network through state-of-the-art IoT/OT monitoring and alerting services. You'll be pivotal in administering and deploying advanced security tools to ensure the highest performance and safety of their infrastructure. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related fieldPreferred certifications – CISSP, CEH, CCNA/CCNP8 years of experience in configuring or administering network security monitoring and incident response tools, with a focus on IoT/OT systems8+ years of experience in deploying and designing network security monitoring tools6 years of experience with network facilities, data processing techniques, and performance monitoring tools6 years of expertise in network protocols, including isolation and analysis techniquesExtensive experience utilizing Solar Winds Net Flow traffic analyzer2 years of experience with Cisco Cyber Vision products is highly desirableStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate alternative solutions and approachesKey Responsibilities:Oversee the deployment and management of IoT/OT security tools, ensuring effective monitoring and alerting for traffic networkDiscover and monitor industrial assets and communication patterns, providing insights into network performance and identifying areas for optimizationGenerate and manage alerts for deviations from performance norms and security policies, notifying appropriate TDOT contactsUse Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) to capture and decode network traffic, detecting vulnerabilities and ensuring up-to-date deploymentsGenius Road, LLC is proud to be a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise, an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity.
