Job Overview

Understands business objectives and problems identifies alternative solutions performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements procedures and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system:
Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures identify problems and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input how data is to be; summarized and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs program functions and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities specifications and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure scalable and resilient network architectures supporting cloud transformation initiatives for the TEDS project. This role requires deep expertise in hybrid networking strategies ensuring seamless integration between on-premises environments and cloud-native services.

• Architect and implement hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity patterns to integrate existing on-prem data center networks with AWS services.
• Design secure high-performance network architectures that meet compliance governance and business continuity requirements.
• Collaborate with cloud security and infrastructure teams to enable seamless migrations and optimize network operations.
• Establish network governance standards and best practices to support long-term growth and evolving enterprise needs.
• Ensure routing segmentation and security policies are aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
• Drive high availability and disaster recovery strategies for mission-critical workloads.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8+ years required:
  Extensive experience in network architecture across AWS and on-premises environments.
• 8+ years required:
  Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), network segmentation and firewall technologies.
• 8+ years required:
  Hands‑on experience with hybrid connectivity solutions (VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway).
• 8+ years required:
  Expertise in network security principles including encryption, identity and compliance frameworks.
• 8+ years required:
  Proficiency in high availability design, load balancing and failover strategies.
• 8+ years required:
  Familiarity with network automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD integration for infrastructure.

Preferred:

• Experience with multi‑cloud networking (Azure, GCP) and cloud‑native networking services.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models.
• Exposure to SD‑WAN technologies and network observability tools (Net Flow, Cloud Watch, Prometheus).
• Understanding of cost optimization strategies for cloud networking.
• Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Cisco CCNP/CCIE or Azure Network Engineer Associate.
