SharePoint Administrator

SharePoint Administrator to manage site collections, permissions, and configurations, while building pages, workflows, and automation using Power Platform tools. This is a junior/intern level role, so both professional and internship experience will be considered for the 3-year requirements.

  • Expected Duration: 12 months / 2080 hours (2/9/26 2/8/27)

Location: Onsite 4-5 days/week. Candidates must be within 50 miles of Austin, TX. Relocation will not be considered.

Deadline: Thursday 1/22 by 12:00 PM

Responsibilities
  • Assisting in managing SharePoint Online site collections, permissions, and security groups.
  • Supporting configuration of libraries, lists, metadata, and content types.
  • Participating in creating and modifying SharePoint pages using web parts, templates, and branding elements.
  • Assisting in developing workflows and automation using Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Monitoring site health and performance; escalating issues as needed.
  • Providing Tier 1/Tier 2 support for SharePoint-related incidents and service requests.
  • Supporting migration of content from legacy systems to SharePoint Online.
  • Assisting in integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, One Drive).
  • Maintaining technical documentation for configurations, processes, and standards.
  • Ensuring adherence to organizational governance and security policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduate-level student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Prior internship or professional experience in IT support or SharePoint administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge to practical technical tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of SharePoint Online architecture, site hierarchy, and permissions model.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services and administration concepts.
  • Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SharePoint customization.
  • Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.
