Windows Administrator

IDR is seeking a Windows Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Texas. This role will focus on managing and supporting enterprise Windows Server environments, contributing to infrastructure projects such as migrations, and ensuring system stability and security. The position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment with a team dedicated to operational excellence and technology innovation.

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Perform server patching, updates, upgrades, and remediation.
• Monitor server health, performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot Windows OS, Active Directory, networking, and infrastructure issues.
• Support infrastructure activities related to the migration project.

• 5+ years’ experience administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Professional experience performing Windows Server patching, updates, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, server security protocols, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience supporting infrastructure projects, particularly migrations or system upgrades.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
