Enterprise Security Architect

Location-West Green which, RI or Austin, TX (Onsite-Hybrid)

Mandatory Skills-AWS Security, Application Security, Identity access management, Azure Security

• Senior-level Security Architect with approximately 8+ years of experience.
• Ideally has progressed from an engineering background into architecture.
• Experience working closely with Application, Infrastructure, and Solution Architects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be comfortable interacting with regulatory and compliance-focused audiences.

• Suppliers should prioritize candidates with:
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Security Architecture within large-scale modernization or transformation programs
• AWS and Azure cloud security expertise
• Experience supporting migrations from on-premises environments to cloud platforms.

• Financial Services
• Large, highly regulated enterprises.

• Participate in architecture and design reviews.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments.
• Identify security risks early in project life cycles.
• Support modernization initiatives within retail technology.
• Provide practical security guidance to project teams.
• Collaborate across architecture and leadership groups

• Dane indicated success will be measured by a candidate's ability to:
• Integrate early into projects.
• Provide sound architectural and risk-based recommendations.
• Reduce late-stage security surprises.
• Become a trusted partner to retail technology teams.
• Balance security requirements with business objectives.

• Limited travel may occasionally be required for workshops or architecture team meetings.

• Security certifications are a plus but are not required.
• Formal architecture frameworks are not a major focus; practical application and problem-solving are more important.
