Job OverviewWe are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager with 8+ years of IT Project Management experience and a current PMP certification. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing technical teams, Agile/Scrum projects, budgets, customer-facing teams, UAT, and healthcare insurance system projects.
Candidates with direct experience working with Texas HHS are strongly preferred.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of assigned projects.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and deliverables.
Lead and manage technical software development teams.
Manage customer-oriented Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Support business analysis, business process mapping, and requirements documentation.
Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Utilize Azure Dev Ops for project planning, tracking, and delivery management.
Apply Agile Scrum and/or SAFe methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and manage project budgets.
Develop project plans, status reports, schedules, risks, issues, and project documentation.
Coordinate with business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Prepare formal Business Cases and Project Charters when required.
Required Qualifications8+ years of Information Technology Project Management experience.
PMP certification is required and must be clearly listed on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.
8+ years of experience with Agile Scrum and/or SAFe.
8+ years of experience preparing and managing project budgets.
8+ years of experience managing technical software development staff.
8+ years of experience managing customer-oriented Integrated Product Teams.
8+ years of experience with business analysis, business process mapping, and requirements documentation.
8+ years of experience with healthcare insurance systems similar to CMBHS.
8+ years of experience utilizing Azure Dev Ops.
8+ years of experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
8+ years of experience working with PPM systems.
