Data Modeling & Architecture
-Design and implement robust data models using star schema and snowflake techniques for optimal performance.
Ensure proper relationships, hierarchies, and calculated measures in Power BI datasets.
Optimize data models for scalability and maintainability.
Build interactive dashboards and reports aligned with business requirements.
- -Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage workspace governance.
- -Utilize DAX and Power Query (M) for advanced calculations and transformations.
Understand and manage Power BI architecture, including service layers, gateways, and premium capacities.
Integrate Power BI with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and other enterprise data sources.
Ensure compliance with organizational data governance and security standards.
- -Monitor and optimize report performance, dataset refresh strategies, and query folding.
Implement best practices for incremental refresh and large dataset handling.
Collaboration & LeadershipWork closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality BI solutions.
Provide guidance on Power BI adoption, workspace design, and governance frameworks.
Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise
- -Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Service.
Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling principles.
Experience with Power BI architecture, including gateways, capacity planning, and deployment pipelines.
Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing, and SQL.Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance.
SkillsExperience 4-6 years’ experience in SQL programming in platforms with large data asset within an OLTP, OLAP and MPP architecture.
3-5 years’ experience with Enterprise BI tool such as Micro Strategy or IBM Cognos or Power BI design & development based on normalized & denormalized data model required. Experience in corporate systems environments required.
Experience with a variety of Information Management applications, programming languages, and technologies preferred.
Experience with writing and debugging complex SQL queries. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications in SQL or Power BI preferred.
