Role Overview :We are looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to help scale our on-premise deployments for clients in Europe and NATO countries, and to strengthen our infrastructure team as the company grows.
Our solutions run in the cloud and, increasingly, inside our clients’ own infrastructure, including fully isolated, air-gapped environments. As the number of on-premise clients grows, you will help scale this direction: improving how we deliver, update, roll back and monitor our solutions in environments where standard cloud tooling isn’t available. Around half of your time will go to running and evolving our current infrastructure, and the rest to on-premise projects for clients, including on-site work at their locations.
This is a hands‑on, senior role for a self‑driven engineer who enjoys ownership of technical decisions, non‑standard challenges and working directly with clients.
Our tech.stack: AWS, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Prometheus + Grafana Stack, Helm, Bash/Python, Argo CD
Key Responsibilities:- Scale and improve on‑premise and air‑gapped deployments of our solutions for clients, from architecture to delivery, updates, rollback and monitoring.
- Travel to clients when needed to set up and support deployments on‑site, and represent the company in technical discussions.
- Operate and evolve our cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to the long‑term infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
- Implement security policies and best practices together with our security team.
- Support engineering teams with the infrastructure their services need.
- Take part in the technical team's on‑call rotation.
- 5+ years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer, with senior‑level responsibilities.
- Citizenship of a NATO member country.
- Hands‑on experience deploying and running systems on‑premise (bare‑metal or virtualized), including
- Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing.
- Solid AWS experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
- Infrastructure as Code and configuration management (e.g. Terraform, Ansible), and a Git Ops approach (e.g. Argo CD).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions is a big plus; Jenkins, Git Lab CI or similar also work).
- Experience with monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Scripting in Bash and/or Python.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure security: system hardening, secrets management, access control, network segmentation.
- Upper‑intermediate (B2+) English or higher: you will work with clients directly, including on‑site.
- Readiness for business trips to clients.
- Self‑driven and proactive, comfortable owning your work in a fast‑changing environment, and using AI tools in your daily work.
- Experience with air‑gapped environments, where data can come in but nothing goes out.
- Experience with data diodes or other one‑way data transfer solutions.
- On‑site deployments for government organizations or for companies working with them.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Nutanix.
Offer:
- Opportunity to contribute to a mission‑driven startup and support prestigious clients, including governments worldwide, enterprise clients, and leading NGOs in tackling global security challenges.
- Autonomy and freedom to drive experiments and…
