AI Trainer / Subject Matter Expert

As an AI Trainer and Subject Matter Expert, you will apply your professional knowledge, analytical skills, and written communication abilities to help assess and improve AI-generated content. Depending on the project, you may review responses for accuracy, relevance, clarity, and completeness; write high-quality answers to challenging questions; compare alternative outputs; or develop guidance and examples for model training. Assignments may vary by subject area, task type, and project requirements.

This role is suited to independent professionals who are comfortable working with detailed instructions and applying sound judgment to unfamiliar or complex material. You will complete project work remotely, manage your time, and follow the applicable quality standards and deadlines. Work availability and project scope may vary, and participation may depend on your skills and the needs of specific projects.

Applicants should have strong knowledge in at least one relevant subject area, such as writing, science, technology, mathematics, business, or the humanities. Advanced education, professional experience, or other demonstrated expertise may be valuable, depending on the project. Excellent written English, careful reading, and the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and organized way are important.

You should be able to evaluate information objectively, distinguish well-supported answers from inaccurate or incomplete ones, and follow detailed criteria consistently. Strong research and critical-thinking skills are helpful, as is the ability to work independently and manage tasks responsibly. Review AI-generated content and assess its accuracy, relevance, tone, reasoning, and adherence to project instructions. Produce clear, original written responses or examples that demonstrate strong subject-matter understanding. Compare multiple answers, identify errors or unsupported claims, and provide concise feedback explaining how an output could be improved. Apply project rubrics consistently, check work for completeness, and revise submissions when needed.

Protect confidential project information and handle assigned materials responsibly. Communicate questions or issues through the designated project channels, keep track of task requirements, and meet agreed deadlines. Adapt to updated instructions and contribute thoughtful, evidence-based judgments throughout each assignment.
