IDR is seeking a Sr Azure Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and advising on Microsoft Azure solutions, supporting enterprise-level cloud infrastructure, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of high-impact Azure environments. The organization specializes in cloud technology services, with an emphasis on innovative Azure solutions to meet complex business needs.
Position Overview for the Sr Azure Architect- This Azure Architect is an expert in Microsoft Azure technologies, with extensive knowledge and experience delivering high-impact solutions and MS services, enabling them to achieve their business objectives.
- They will serve as a trusted advisor to internal and customer stakeholders, establishing strong relationships and understanding of unique business needs.
- They will lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Azure solutions, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, adhering to industry best practices.
- They will also assist the Solutions Architecture team with developing Statements of Work and proposals, including solution overview, consulting estimates, and software/license requirements.
- 10+ years of experience in Azure architecture, with hands-on work with Azure virtual machines, Windows Server, and some Linux environments
- Proficiency in Power Shell, Bash, Bicep, and some experience with Terraform
- Strong knowledge of deploying Microsoft Azure solutions across the Azure platform (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and understanding Azure capabilities and limitations
- Infrastructure design experience, including LAN/WAN, messaging technologies, database technologies, and security solutions
- Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Power Shell, ARM, Terraform, or Bicep
