Language Services Associates is seeking Bengali interpreters in Austin, Texas. As part of LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters, you will facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across various settings, including medical, legal, and customer service. LSA continuously accepts qualified interpreters for diverse assignments.
Responsibilities- Provide superior customer service
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct
- Follow all policies, procedures, and interpretation protocols
- Complete training and participate in ongoing quality assurance
- Full fluency in English and Bengali
- Knowledge of industry best practices (professionalism, courtesy, confidentiality)
- Ability to deliver high-quality client service
- Access to personal or public transportation
- 2+ years of interpreting experience preferred
- Industry certifications (e.g., CMI, CCHI) preferred
