Corporate Attorney - M&A, Transactional

Associate, Jr. Partner or Partner Level – Corporate Group

An established boutique commercial law firm with a highly collegial environment is currently seeking a Transactional M&A Attorney to join their team full‑time and eventually transition into a Junior Partner role.

Candidate has experience with M&A and transactional work, can be trained to sign off on projects and become Partner quickly, and may also jump in on the supervising side if not yet at Partner-level.

The salary for this role will be market‑competitive and commensurate with experience, a top market base salary with generous performance‑based year‑end bonuses.

• 6+ years' experience
• Applicants must live in Texas
• Experience in transactional, M&A work
• Desire to grow and advance with the firm over the long term
• Ability to work alongside senior partners to assist with workflow as required
• Professional, organized and collegial
• Billable hour requirement: 1,750 realistic (1,850 goal)

Firm began as a litigation boutique 20 years ago, now a full‑service firm focused on mid‑market and private companies. Clients are mainly founder‑run or primary equity holders. Very little turnover; culture is excellent; associates are hired to make partner. Training, mentoring, and client‑development training are excellent.
