Commercial Litigation Attorney
Base pay range: $120,000 – $180,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Represent clients in all aspects of commercial litigation, including contract disputes, business torts, partnership and shareholder disputes, and intellectual property litigation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of legal issues and precedents relevant to specific cases.
- Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations, potential risks, and the best strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Prepare and present cases in court or before regulatory bodies, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm to develop effective litigation strategies and streamline processes.
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients and their business operations.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Membership in good standing with a state Bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of success.
- Proficiency with litigation and legal research tools.
- Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines without compromising on quality.
- Strong understanding of business operations and commercial laws.
- High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with clients, colleagues, and the court.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions based on thorough research and analysis.
