Our AmLaw 100 client is hiring a senior transactional tax associate for a national team that sits in the middle of headline deals. This is a true platform move: deep bench, real volume, and tax lawyers who are brought in early, not at the cleanup stage.
Role SummaryYou will run point on transactional tax across:
- Domestic and cross-border M&A
- Partnership tax planning
- Private equity fund formation work
- Capital markets and financing transactions
This is a senior associate seat with real responsibility and direct deal exposure.
Candidate profile- Minimum 4 years of law firm experience focused on transactional tax
- Comfort advising deal teams and business principals, not just drafting memos after the fact
- Experience across M&A, partnership structures, and sponsor-side work is strongly preferred
- Bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction
- Market position: A top-tier AmLaw platform with consistent national recognition across practice areas and lawyers.
- Deal flow: A tax group built to support high-volume, high-value transactions across major business centers.
- Bench strength: Large, globally integrated tax team, which matters when your deals do.
- Support: Formal well-being and benefits infrastructure that is actually resourced.
Multiple major US markets. The team is built to collaborate across offices, and the right candidate will have options.
