Our client is seeking a Legal Editor to support a cutting-edge AI and legal technology initiative. This fully remote opportunity is open to licensed U.S. attorneys who will review and evaluate AI-generated legal content, including briefs, memoranda, legal research responses, case summaries, and statutory analyses. In this role, you'll help improve the accuracy and quality of AI-generated legal work by assessing content, verifying legal citations, providing detailed feedback, and supporting model training efforts.
This role is ideal for attorneys with 1-5 years of litigation experience. You'll leverage your legal research, writing, and analytical skills to review complex legal content, work within Excel and other software tools, and provide structured evaluations of AI-generated outputs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, comfortable learning new technology, and capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Contract Duration: 3 months
Required Skills & Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Active license to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction
- 1-5 years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research, legal writing, and legal analysis skills
- Experience reviewing legal documents, case law, statutes, briefs, motions, and memoranda
- Working knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to learn new software and technology platforms quickly
- Experience providing detailed feedback, analysis, and quality assessments
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet productivity targets
- Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment
Desired Skills & Experience
- Transactional legal experience
- Experience drafting legal briefs, motions, or memoranda
- Familiarity with legal research platforms and legal technology tools
- Experience verifying citations and legal authorities
- Prior editorial, quality assurance, or content review experience
- Experience evaluating complex legal content for accuracy and completeness
- Interest in artificial intelligence and emerging legal technology
- Advanced legal degree or specialized legal expertise
- Recently retired attorneys with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
