A law firm seeks a Patent Prosecution Attorney to join its team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science, and have a passion for intellectual property law.
Duties- Draft and prosecute patent applications.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their inventions.
- Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
- Advise clients on patent strategy and portfolio management.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a law firm setting.
- Experience with telecom, AI, and/or software preferred.
- USPTO registration required.
- Degree in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science.
