A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate with two to four years of experience to join their litigation team in Austin, Texas. The firm represents a diverse clientele, offering associates the chance to gain broad experience in state and federal courts. This role provides an opportunity for substantive experience and mentorship in a partnership-track position.
Duties- Participate actively in all aspects of commercial litigation and oil and gas matters.
- Contribute to multi-attorney teams on larger cases.
- Engage in hands-on experience with smaller matters, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Two to four years of commercial litigation experience.
- Interest in oil and gas litigation; prior experience is a plus.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
