Minimum qualifications
  • JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing or otherwise authorized to practice law (e.g., have registered in-house status) in the state in which the position is located.
  • 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or at a law firm.
  • Experience advising telecom companies.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience driving cross-company alignment on high-stakes issues, and strong advocacy skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with other legal team members and cross functional teams on a variety of issues.
  • Excellent risk calibration skills.

The Platforms and Devices+ Legal team seeks a hybrid counsel (Product and Commercial Counsel) to join the fun, collaborative Support, Marketing, Research, Retail and Fi Legal Team! This Legal team supports the Platforms and Devices Marketing teams, first-party retail (e.g., Google’s physical and online stores), Research, Customer Support and Fi organizations. This role requires a thorough understanding of privacy, consumer protection and insurance regulations, telecommunication laws, commercial transactions and ecommerce and global retail operations.
