Commercial & Corporate Law, Legal Counsel, Intellectual Property, Lawyer
Our client is a publicly traded technology and software company thriving with new business and in need of an experienced commercial attorney to support a busy and lean legal team.
What You'll DoYou will be a true generalist with broad ownership across the legal function. The majority of your time will be spent on commercial contracts - drafting, reviewing, interpreting, revising, and negotiating a wide range of technology and services agreements across business functions. You will advise on business and legal issues as they arise, help develop and refine internal policies and procedures, and apply the company's unique risk tolerances to deliver consistent, well-calibrated legal guidance.
A meaningful portion of your work will touch M&A - supporting due diligence and transaction-related matters as the company continues to grow. Deep M&A experience isn't required, but familiarity with the process is a plus. The remaining time will be spent on general corporate matters - compliance questions, cross-functional projects, and the day-to-day legal needs of a dynamic, evolving organization. No two days look the same.
