To manage and conserve the natural and cultural resources of Texas and to provide hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation opportunities for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.

This position supervises the Texas Natural Diversity Database (TXNDD) staff and establishes TXNDD team goals and objectives; develops team guidelines, procedures, and policies; develops schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving team goals; monitors and evaluates team activities; develops and evaluates budget requests; and coordinates team activities.
Under the direction of the Ecological & Environmental Planning Program (EEPP) Director, this position performs highly complex (senior‑level) administrative and supervisory work.
