Position Summary

Lead night warehouse operations and personnel for safe and efficient preparation of product for delivery to customers the following day. Assist the first‑line supervisor in directing associates to achieve accurate orders that are then staged and loaded on the trucks. Assist in overseeing the preparation of the warehouse for receiving the next day.

What you’ll do
  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse; inspect equipment; issue work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Assist with employee schedules, workloads, and productivity and ensure that all picking, loading, and replenishing are done correctly and completed nightly.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety requirements.
  • Cover for any other area of the warehouse as needed and oversee the night operation when the night supervisor is not available.
  • Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results.

  • Experience with process improvement and knowledge of best practices within receiving and inventory control.
  • Ability to motivate, influence, communicate and engage staff in all the company objectives.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.
