- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives, ensure resource availability and allocation, and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on‑time, within scope, and within budget
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Report and elevate to management as needed
- Identify possible project risks; recommend and implement risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate
- Identify and execute against performance improvement opportunities across the enterprise using contemporary process improvement tools
- Demonstrate experience in applying contemporary improvement techniques and producing results
- Assess current business performance against the enterprise’s business strategy
- Work with multiple teams of business practitioners to synthesize findings, develop improvement recommendations, and lead execution of initiatives
- Collaborate with customers and suppliers on improvement projects
- Lead kaizen and process improvement projects
- Apply advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
- Recommend new practices, processes, metrics, or models; ability to recommend alternative solutions and translate complex concepts into simplified and understandable examples
- Independently determine method for completion of new projects
- May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a healthcare and/or technical discipline
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required
- 5+ years of experience in process improvement with proven ability to lead change through both direct and indirect influencing abilities
- Fluency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word)
- Data driven with strong analytical skills
- Action and results oriented, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Understanding of Minitab, or other statistical software tools
- Experience working within a service, transactional, or technology company, preferably in healthcare
- Post‑secondary education and/or training related to the above essential functions
- Other certifications in lean six sigma, project management, and/or quality
- Understanding of Power BI or Tableau, or other business intelligence visualization tools
- Understanding of Minitab, or other statistical software tool
- Remote position (US only)
- Opportunities to travel through your work (0‑20%)
