Base pay range

Reporting to a senior construction leader, the Data Center Project Manager is responsible for driving planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management for global data center development. Working closely with construction, design, and engineering teams, this role converts capacity targets into executable project plans and ensures alignment from project start through customer handover.
Focus- Develop integrated schedules across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning, and manage the master construction schedule from site mobilization through substantial completion.
- Own project budgets, cash-flow forecasts, earned-value reporting, and change-order governance.
- Facilitate phase-gate reviews and design milestones, maintaining RACI matrices and action logs.
- Manage the full contract lifecycle including RFPs, bid evaluations, awards, change tracking, and close-out documentation.
- Identify critical-path and long-lead risks (e.g., major mechanical and electrical equipment) and drive mitigation.
- Serve as a central point of truth for internal leadership and external partners through clear, concise reporting.
- Provide direction and leadership to cross-functional project delivery teams, including project managers, construction managers, and site leadership.
- Develop staffing plans, lead performance management, and support talent development within the project team.
- Lead standups, project reviews, and retrospectives to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; construction-management qualifications preferred.
- 10+ years of project-management experience in hyperscale data centers or large industrial/infrastructure projects.
- Track record of delivering fast-track projects across multiple regions.
- Strong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes, procurement workflows, and cost controls.
- Proficient with scheduling, cost-management, and collaboration tools.
- Excellent communication skills with comfort presenting to both executives and trades.
- Experience building and scaling project teams across regions and time zones.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel 50%+ to active project sites or as needed.
