The Opportunity

As a Project Manager at Risher Martin, you'll take full ownership of complex, high-end custom builds and renovations from the pre-construction hand-off through final punch out. You'll lead our Project Coordinator, Clients, and Design Team through every phase, ensuring that every drawing, schedule, budget, and punch item meets our uncompromising standards.

You’ll drive clarity in communication, precision in execution, and forward progress every single day. Our sophisticated, cloud-based systems and proven processes will empower you to manage with confidence, eliminate surprises, and deliver an experience our clients rave about.

If you're passionate about building well‑crafted residential homes and take pride in guiding teams toward excellence, this opportunity is designed for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage full project schedules: long‑range, Gantt, and two‑week lookaheads.
  • Oversee Change Orders, RFIs, submittals, samples, mockups, and field execution alongside your Project Coordinator.
  • Own the budget: approve bids, monitor committed costs, manage contingencies, and review all trade invoices and PO variances.
  • Coordinate shop drawings, materials, and trade partners to ensure flawless execution per plan and spec.
  • Conduct quality control walks and inspections at key construction phases to hold the standard.
  • Lead client and design team punch‑walks, driving open items to zero.
  • Ensure seamless project hand‑off to Home Care with a “Zero Punch List” mindset.
  • Lead weekly client and design team meetings, prepare agendas, drive action items, distribute updates, and maintain project alignment.
  • Coach, lead, and train by providing guidance, accountability, and mentorship to ensure growth, consistency, and professional development across every role.
Who You Are

You’re an experienced builder with a sharp eye for detail and a calm command of complex projects. You lead with humility, curiosity, and confidence. You communicate clearly and take full ownership from the kick‑off meeting to the final walkthrough.

You know how to build trust, manage information, and anticipate problems before they arise. You’re not afraid to dig into the details, and you never lose sight of the bigger picture—high standards for craftsmanship, client satisfaction, schedule certainty, and budget discipline.

Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of experience managing custom residential construction or high‑end remodeling projects.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and trade partners for complex, design‑driven homes.
  • Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; thrives in a collaborative, process‑driven environment.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and cloud‑based systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required.

  • Salary: $130,000 - $145,000 (based on experience)
  • Health Insurance
  • 401(k) Matching
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Vehicle Allowance
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Weekly Team Lunch
  • iPhone, iPad, and Laptop Provided
