Job Description & How to Apply Below

Aurigo is an AI-native capital program management platform trusted by over 300 customers managing more than $450 billion in capital programs across North America. With over 40,000 projects delivered, Aurigo helps organisations in transportation, water and utilities, healthcare, higher education, and government plan, build, and manage infrastructure with confidence. Recognised as one of the Top 25 AI Companies of 2024 and a Great Place to Work for three consecutive years, we leverage artificial intelligence to create smarter, more connected outcomes.

At Aurigo, we don't just build software — we help shape the future of infrastructure.

Location: Austin

Work Mode: Up to 50% Field-Present

Type: Full-Time Employee

Role Overview

You lead Aurigo's Forward Deployed Engineering practice the team that deploys AI agents directly inside capital program environments and builds the commercial foundation that converts technical deployments into long-term recurring revenue. Initially, this means standing up the delivery model, developing the pilot customer base, and building the commercial architecture for outcome-as-a-service contracts. At scale, it means running a practice that spans multiple simultaneous engagements across the infrastructure market.

This is an executive role, not a delivery role. You will own the relationships with agency executives who control capital program budgets. You will collaborate with Aurigo leadership team to help translate field intelligence into strategic decisions. You will be present at key moments in every engagement, but day-to-day delivery is your team's job.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the executive relationship at every active FDE account serving as senior Aurigo sponsor and the escalation point for anything requiring executive authority
  • Source and qualify new pilot opportunities, coordinating with Aurigo's sales and customer success teams
  • Structure, price, and close FDE commercial agreements, translating delivered agents into outcome as a service pricing
  • Lead the expansion conversation at mature pilot accounts, presenting the next-agent roadmap and driving incremental ARR growth through additional contracted agents
  • Build and manage the FDE team; own hiring decisions and the practice's operating model
  • Represent Aurigo's agentic delivery capability externally, at industry conferences, in customer executive briefings, and in conversations with potential partners and acquisition targets
  • Translate field intelligence into product and strategy input; what agents the market needs, what is blocking deployments, what pricing the market will bear
Candidate Profile Required
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline required. Master's degree in Computer Science or Management preferred
  • 10+ years of experience leading customer facing technology organizations or professional services teams.
  • Experience structuring and closing professional services or technology agreements with public agencies
  • Experience scaling a professional services or delivery practice
  • Technical fluency to discuss AI agent capabilities credibly with agency executives and make sound decisions about what the team can and cannot deliver
  • A builder's orientation: you are energized by standing something new up, not managing something already established
Preferred
  • Experience in infrastructure technology, capital program consulting, or adjacent fields
  • Executive relationships across the public infrastructure owner community: DOTs, transit authorities, water utilities, or comparable agencies; relationships you can activate with a phone call, not just Linked In connections
  • Familiarity with AI-powered workflow automation, agentic platforms, or data-driven infrastructure operations
  • Prior P&L ownership or practice leadership responsibility
