Position Overview   Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer with a dotted-line relationship to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis will serve as the senior finance partner to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).  The CCO leads the company’s Retail & Wholesale channels, as well as all Real Estate, International Expansion, Licensing, and Product Expansion efforts.  This newly created role will bring one financial view to a broad commercial portfolio that includes approximately 180 stores, the store fleet and real estate pipeline, major and specialty wholesale accounts, new international markets, and emerging partnership models.

This leader will combine rigorous planning and performance management with practical commercial judgment. The role will guide decisions on where to open, renew, remodel, relocate, or close stores; how to improve store and account profitability; and how to invest in new channels, markets, and partnerships. The Vice President will build and lead a team of three finance professionals initially, with the expectation that the organization will grow as the business expands.

This role offers the opportunity to shape how Kendra Scott evolves and runs several of its most important growth platforms. The Vice President will work directly with senior leaders, establish the commercial finance model for the Chief Commercial Officer's organization, and build a team designed to grow with the business. Responsibilities Strategic Finance Partnership Serve as the primary finance partner to the Chief Commercial Officer and a trusted advisor to the leaders of Retail, Real Estate, Wholesale, International Expansion, and Strategic Partnerships.

Translate business strategies into financial plans, investment choices, operating targets, and clear measures of success. Provide independent, fact-based recommendations while helping business leaders identify practical actions to improve revenue, margin, operating income, cash flow, and return on invested capital. Prepare decision materials and recommendations for executive leadership, investment reviews, and other senior forums. Retail Fleet and Real Estate Finance Own the financial planning and performance framework for the retail fleet, including store-level P&L’s, comparable and new-store performance, cohort trends, four-wall contribution, occupancy, labor, and capital productivity.

Partner with Real Estate and Retail leadership on fleet reviews, market prioritization, lease decisions, and the multi-year store development plan. Lead financial analysis for new stores, renewals, relocations, remodels, expansions, closures, and other fleet actions.  Establish post-investment reviews that compare actual store performance with approved assumptions and use the findings to improve future underwriting. Create actionable reporting that identifies underperforming locations, emerging risks, and opportunities to improve the productivity and profitability of the fleet.
