The Vice President of Finance – Hospital Medicine (HM) leads key financial operations initiatives, analyses, and performance improvement efforts across the Hospital Medicine service line. This role supports the continued expansion of the Hospital Medicine business through organic growth and new hospital partnerships.

The position requires deep expertise in Hospital Medicine financial and operational drivers and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies that drive performance. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading high‑performing teams, strong collaboration with clinical and operational leaders, a strategic and growth‑oriented mindset, and a reputation for delivering value‑added financial insights.

As a senior leader within Finance, the VP oversees financial performance across all three Hospital Medicine operating regions, provides leadership and direction to regional finance teams, and directly manages and develops a team of finance leaders. The VP fosters a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement.

This highly visible role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration, executive presence, proven people‑leadership skills, and the ability to influence outcomes across a complex, multi‑region organization.

• Serve as the senior Finance leader for the Hospital Medicine service line, with deep expertise in HM‑specific financial and operational drivers.
• Provide financial leadership across all three HM operating regions, ensuring consistent performance management, alignment to enterprise priorities, and sharing of best practices.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of regional finance leaders; build organizational capability, strengthen the leadership bench, and drive a high‑performance, accountable culture.
• Partner closely with the Hospital Medicine Leadership Team (CEO, Operations, Clinical, etc.) to drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, and optimize site‑level performance.
• Act as a strategic thought partner, identifying opportunities to expand margins, improve performance, and support new business development within Hospital Medicine.
• Lead financial support for HM contract strategy, including pricing models, renewals, and amendments; challenge assumptions and influence negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
