Major Areas of Accountability- Maintain supply and quality parameters of chemical and slurry distributions.
- Responsibilities include drum/tote/isotainer chemical offloading to bulk tanks, chemical batch processing, SPC chart monitoring of processes, chemical sampling.
- Maintain equipment uptime through maintenance activities and troubleshooting of system equipment which include valves, filters, piping, pumps, instrumentation and other components.
- Work within defined technical processes and procedures.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvements.
- Uphold area upkeep and 5S principals.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and drum crusher.
- Ability to operate system equipment via HMI for batch creation and or distribution.
- Collaborate cross departmentally, elevate as required.
- Cross train as a backup resource for chemical handling department.
- Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
- Record keeping, reporting, as required.
B Shift
:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday in week one, and Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Saturday in week two, from 7 pm – 7 am. This role offers a 15% differential.
OR
C Shift
:
Thursday through Saturday in one week, and Wednesday through Saturday in the other week, from 6:55am - 7:10pm.
- Education:
2 Year Technical/associate’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent military training / manufacturing work experience. - Experience:
3-5 years of manufacturing or operations experience. - Skills:
mechanical inclination, ability to troubleshoot system equipment, good communication, attentive to detail, collaborative.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- At times bending and or crouching
- Education:
a relevant completed vocational / professional training of at least 3 years - Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, minor electrical and controls proficiency
