In your role as a Diffusion Process Technician at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our fleet of production tools to support world‑class foundry operations 24/7. We prioritize safety, learning, and having fun. You will continuously encounter technical issues that challenge and sharpen your skills.

• Follow SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) to work efficiently, safely, and cost‑effectively.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment.
• Use structured problem solving to help find impactful solutions to complex problems.
• Affectively communicate with engineers, leaders, and teammates.
• Work in a team environment on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock.

• High School diploma is required.
• Technical degree preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude highly desired.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45 pm – 7:15 am) with alternating Saturdays.
• D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45 pm – 7:15 am) with alternating Saturdays.

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour and $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
