Job Description:

Briley's Upholstery Shop is looking for an experienced woodworker to join our team. We are an upholstery shop with a heavy emphasis on custom upholstered furniture. We have a history of providing the highest quality and craftsmanship to our clients.

• Reading construction drawings
• Operate various hand tools and woodworking equipment
• Cutting wood to assemble and prepare for upholstery
• Apply stain on visible areas of furniture such as feet or legs
• Assist with installation and tasks at job sites
• Communicate and teach shop procedures to others
• Comply with safety regulations and shop rules
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work space

• Good woodworking skills with an emphasis on upholstery frames a plus
• Knowledge of equipment and proper maintenance procedures
• Experience with stains
• Quality and production focused
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well with others and to take direction
• Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Physically fitness, including but not limited to being able to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to teach others and share skills
• Must be self motivated and reliable

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $25-$30.00 per hour
