Responsibilities
  • Storing and moving materials:
    Managing the storage, movement, and handling within a warehouse.
  • Loading and Unloading:
    Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring efficient material transport to and from storage areas.
  • Ensuring orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.
  • Contributing to the orderly operation of the stock and/or material storage area.
  • Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Locating materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintaining in‑process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Documenting materials and records units delivered and the location of units.
  • Receiving credit‑return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
  • Preparing finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documenting product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Maintaining material‑handling equipment by completing pre‑use inspections and making operator repairs.
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signaling machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
  • Keeping inventory, loading areas, and materials.
Required Skills
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel/technology
  • Multitasker, self‑driven, fast‑paced, and organized.
  • Experience with operating various types of construction equipment is a plus
  • Basic computer knowledge with Rental Man software experience (preferred)
  • Forklift Operator Certified (preferred)
  • Areal lift Certified (preferred)
Additional Information & Benefits
  • Full-time – 40 to 50 hours per week, OT as needed
  • Monday to Friday: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
