- Storing and moving materials:
Managing the storage, movement, and handling within a warehouse. - Loading and Unloading:
Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring efficient material transport to and from storage areas. - Ensuring orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.
- Contributing to the orderly operation of the stock and/or material storage area.
- Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Locating materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintaining in‑process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Documenting materials and records units delivered and the location of units.
- Receiving credit‑return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
- Preparing finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Documenting product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Maintaining material‑handling equipment by completing pre‑use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signaling machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Keeping inventory, loading areas, and materials.
- Excellent communication skills
- Well organized with attention to detail
- Positive interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
- Proficient in MS Office Excel/technology
- Multitasker, self‑driven, fast‑paced, and organized.
- Experience with operating various types of construction equipment is a plus
- Basic computer knowledge with Rental Man software experience (preferred)
- Forklift Operator Certified (preferred)
- Areal lift Certified (preferred)
- Full-time – 40 to 50 hours per week, OT as needed
- Monday to Friday: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
