Aboutthe Position Job Brief
We are looking for an Autoline Operator to join our growing team. This position reports to the Autoline Supervisor. Autoline Operators run and operate high‑speed automated bagging lines. Machinery is capable of producing up to 26 bags per minute, per bagging line. We are seeking individuals who are mechanically inclined and motivated to join our growing workforce with locations in Austin and Hutto, Texas.
Experience is a PLUS but not required.
This position is required to follow production work schedule as assigned (Slow Season 6am to 4:30pm M‑F (occasional Sat), Busy Season 6am to 6:30pm M‑Sat). We expect autoline operators to perform tasks in a safe and professional manner and to maintain a professional demeanor when engaging with customers and coworkers.
A successful candidate for this position will ensure that work is completed safely, on schedule and as directed. Key Responsibilities- Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.
- Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, ink, or labels.
- Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
- Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
- Start machine by engaging controls.
- Count and record finished and rejected packaged items.
- Sort, grade, weigh, and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.
- Clean, oil, and make minor adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment, such as adjusting belts, tensioners and gates.
- Monitor the production line, watching for problems such as pileups, jams, or bridging issues that don’t allow product to pass through form, fill, sealer.
- Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.
- Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.
