Associate Production Manager, Model Y, Drive Unit

What to Expect

As an Associate Manager of Production, you will play a critical role in leading a team of Supervisors to drive operations, optimize efficiency, and ensure production goals are met. You will work cross-functionally with manufacturing and operations teams, interfacing with Engineering, Quality, Material Flow, and Maintenance to improve processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Build a strong, motivated production team capable of consistently delivering high-quality products against aggressive production targets
• Maintain a culture that prioritizes safety and quality through communication, action, and accountability
• Empower teams to collaborate with engineering to improve product manufacturability and line productivity
• Develop training programs and workforce development strategies for Supervisors and Production Associates
• Support issue resolution, including root cause investigation and corrective action tracking
• Drive standardization of work processes and ensure consistent practices across shifts and areas
• Utilize production performance metrics to optimizeefficiency, quality, safety, throughput, and cost control

• 5 plus years of experience managing teams in a high-volume manufacturing setting
• Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience with demonstratedexceptional ability
• Strong ability to analyze and drive performance metrics (efficiency, quality, safety, cost)
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as necessary
