Role
CNC Machine Operator supporting precision manufacturing of medical devices, primarily performing setups and operations on CNC mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
Responsibilities- handle machine setups
- feed raw materials
- monitor operations
- perform dimensional quality checks using micrometers and gage blocks
- document processes
- troubleshoot equipment
- perform routine maintenance
- suggest process improvements
- support team collaboration
- high school diploma or equivalent
- technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred
- proven experience operating CNC equipment
- knowledge of GMP principles advantageous
- familiarity with measurement tools
- strong attention to detail
- problem-solving abilities
- effective communication skills
manufacturing medical devices, supporting precision component production for implantable devices, adhering to GMP, with a focus on quality control and process optimization.
Work Setupprimarily on-site in Austin, with a collaborative team environment.
This role, CNC Machine Operator Entry Level I (Sunday–Tuesday, and every other Saturday, from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM) at Scorpion Therapeutics, could be your next move.
