Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for clients and supervise the team's activities, including the review and editing of all client-related materials
- Develop and implement communications strategies that align with clients' objectives
- Build and maintain professional relationships with key media figures, including journalists, editors, analysts, and influencers
- Develop a wide range of written materials, such as press releases, byline articles, speeches, client correspondence, and reports
- Mentor and coach junior team members, ensuring project deadlines are met through effective project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Regularly analyze campaign performance using metrics and KPIs to evaluate success and adjust strategies accordingly
- Participate in new business pitches, ensuring presentations are thoroughly researched, prepared, and polished
- Assist in tracking and managing budgets to support the executive and leadership teams in performing their responsibilities
- Monitor media regularly to understand industry topics, gain insights from media coverage, and identify potential newsjacking opportunities
- A minimum of 4+ years of PR agency experience with at least 1 year in the B2B technology industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Technology-related field preferable, or a related field
- Excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to speak with high-level executives internally and externally
- Detail-oriented, organized and dedicated; proactive and enthusiastic with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; a self-starter
- Display and encourage creativity and innovation in self and others
- Strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
