Brand Communications Manager
This role is an in‑office position based in Austin, TX, working Monday‑Friday with optional work‑from‑home on Thursdays. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
Base Pay Range$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Responsibilities & Duties- Partner with the Head of Brand to establish and evolve the Indeed Flex brand voice and core messaging across UK and US markets.
- Execute and own the Brand Communications strategy, including planning, reporting, and hands‑on delivery.
- Develop and curate compelling, audience‑specific content (video, newsletters, lifecycle communications) for diverse channels.
- Execute content delivery across social media, user communities, PR, CRM, SEO/SEM, and paid media.
- Build and aggressively grow the Indeed Flex social media presence and following through impactful, engaging messaging.
- Lead collaboration on integrated marketing campaigns, brand activations, and public relations initiatives to reinforce market position.
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and experimentation across communications to drive engagement, focusing on increasing clicks and conversions.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Sales to translate business insights into powerful, market‑relevant messaging.
- Support the maintenance and updating of the company website and landing pages using various CMS.
- Effectively manage and direct external agencies, vendors, and freelancers to ensure high‑quality, on‑time project delivery.
- 3‑5 years of progressive experience leading and executing brand communications, social media marketing, and/or digital marketing.
- Proven experience managing online communities and social engagement.
- Strong ability to build a bold, human brand that connects emotionally and authentically with diverse audiences.
- Deep expertise in PR and media relations, translating complex product offerings into compelling brand stories.
- Proven experience in brand marketing, communications, or content strategy, ideally in fast‑paced, high‑growth or technology‑driven environments.
- Skill in leveraging influencer partnerships to maximize reach and engagement.
- Strong proficiency in creating on‑brand content across web, social, email, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience managing and influencing multiple stakeholders across different functions and geographic regions.
- Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence to represent and advocate for the brand in high‑level cross‑functional initiatives.
Annual salary: $70,000 – $90,000. Performance‑based bonus totaling 8% of annual salary. Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). 25 days PTO (prorated) + Birthday Off. 8 Paid Holidays. Duvet days (½ day off every quarter).
Physical DemandsJob requires standing, walking, using hands; to lift up to 25 lbs. Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
TravelMinimal travel, less than 10%, most outside local area, overnight accommodations required.
Position Type / Expected Hours of WorkFull‑time, Monday‑Friday, regular business hours; occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
