Contract Copywriter

Austin, TX (On-site Monday through Thursday)

3-month W2 contract, 40 hrs/week

The Copywriter will play a key role in the strategy, ideation, and development of creative marketing content. This position is responsible for crafting compelling, brand-aligned copy across multiple marketing channels and contributing to the development of integrated campaigns. The ideal candidate combines strong conceptual thinking with excellent writing skills and can work independently as well as collaboratively within a creative team.

• Collaborate with creative team members to develop conceptual and copy direction for branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives.
• Brainstorm, develop, and present innovative marketing and advertising concepts that drive engagement and measurable results.
• Create strategic marketing content for a variety of channels, including:
• Product packaging
• Email marketing
• Website content and digital banners
• Digital experiences
• Social media assets
• Retail displays
• Internal sales communications
• Video content
• Translate creative briefs and strategic objectives into effective copy concepts.
• Present ideas clearly and persuasively to gain stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain brand consistency across all creative deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
• Contribute effectively within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an advertising agency or in-house copywriting role.
• Experience with digital marketing and advertising.
• Strong ability to learn and apply brand voice across various channels.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• On-site attendance required in Austin, Texas, Monday through Thursday.

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $45-$50 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
