eCommission has been the largest commission advance provider in residential real estate for more than 25 years, and we're investing heavily in technology and new products to expand what we deliver to agents and brokers. Our growth means more campaigns, more partner programs, more events, and more content than ever, all moving at once.
The Marketing Web Developer owns the day-to-day health and performance of the eCommission website. You'll make sure every page is tracked properly and every campaign lands on a page built to convert. You'll write the code, build the templates, and ship the pages yourself. This role reports to our Chief Marketing Officer and works closely with our IT and development teams, operations, and outside agencies.
You'll be accountable for measurable results: tracked, reported, and improved every month.
- You're a hands-on builder who is happy writing PHP and working in Word Press, not just managing someone else's code.
- You've set up tracking (GA4, Google Tag Manager, pixels) and can tell whether the data is trustworthy.
- You love finding out what makes a page convert, and you've run A/B tests with results you can put numbers on.
- You get excited about building a landing page in days, not weeks.
- You're comfortable in Hub Spot: forms, tracking, and CRM data. You don't have to be an expert, but you aren't learning the basics from scratch.
- You like making sure leads land in the CRM clean, complete, and tied back to their source.
- You work well with marketers and can translate between "what we want" and "how we build it."
- You care about page speed, mobile responsiveness, and a site that stays up.
- You'd rather show your work than describe it. You can walk us through pages or code you've built.
- Bonus: you have front-end chops (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and an eye for clean, modern design.
- Code and maintain website pages hands-on in our PHP and Word Press environment, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This is a builder role, not a coordinator role.
- Create reusable page templates for campaigns, landing pages, and content, so new pages ship in days, not weeks.
- Keep the codebase clean and consistent, with version control so changes are traceable.
- Own the staging-to-production workflow for page changes, including QA across devices and browsers before anything goes live.
- Own our tracking setup end to end:
Google Tag Manager, GA4, conversion tracking, call tracking, and pixels for paid channels. - Make sure every form fill, signup, and funnel step is tracked accurately and tied back to source, so we know which channels and campaigns produce funded advances, not just clicks.
- Audit tracking regularly and fix gaps before they become blind spots in reporting.
- Design, code, test, and maintain landing pages for paid media, partner programs, and email campaigns.
- Set up and run a continuous A/B testing program on headlines, forms, offers, and layouts, and document what wins.
- Improve conversion across the signup funnel using real user behavior data, such as heatmaps and session recordings.
- Install and maintain the Hub Spot tracking code, aligned with Google Tag Manager and cookie consent requirements.
- Build and embed Hub Spot forms, CTAs, and pop-ups on site pages, with hidden fields capturing source, campaign, and page context.
- Map website and signup data into Hub Spot so leads land in the right place with clean properties.
- Workflow and campaign automation are owned by our Marketing Manager. This role makes sure the website data feeding them is right.
- Contribute to organic search performance through on-page optimization, technical SEO, redirects,…
