Purpose of Position

Serve on a programmatic stewardship team to support and deliver strategic initiatives for scholarship programs.

  • Coordinate centralized endowment stewardship for select scholarship programs including accurate donor data management, recipient thank you letter solicitation, letter review and packet delivery.
  • Assist with CSU support and individual donor recognition deliverable needs including research, strategic writing and design recommendations for reports, recognition certificates, special one-off events, and individual touchpoints for donors in TG and VPD portfolio.
  • Partner with OSFA and scholarship program directors to ensure that donor recognition activities and other stewardship initiatives are planned and executed efficiently and follow university and federal regulations.

Serve as Donor Relations team lead collaborator with Marketing and Communications department on annual scholarship stewardship event strategy and execution.

  • Assist with the planning, production and execution of all event components - venue, finance, materials, data, volunteers, etc.

    - for scholarship donor appreciation events.
  • Produce written copy utilized in video scripts and emails.
  • Coordinate with team members for reviews and approvals of stewardship pieces.
  • Collaborate with students and team members for successful execution of general and personalized videos and handwritten thank you messages.
  • Deliver meaningful and timely stewardship to all scholarship donors.
  • Evaluate and advise leadership on opportunities to communicate and improve program impact.

Coordinate first-time donor program, loyal donor program, and stewardship for select campaigns in partnership with Annual Giving and Marketing and Communications departments.
