Base pay range: $23.00/hr – $25.00/hr

We are expanding rapidly and need passionate, justice‑seeking individuals who want to make a tangible difference. As a Donations Coordinator in Texas, you will support our goal of increasing donated goods and engaging more donors by streamlining the donations process—from collecting donation needs, identifying and acquiring in‑kind goods, logging and tracking donations in the appropriate database, and distributing donations to clients.
Limited term – This position is funded through a grant agreement until 9/30/26 and is contingent upon funding extension.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES- Field and respond to in‑kind donation form submissions, voicemails and emails.
- Schedule and assist with donation pick‑ups and drop‑offs and coordinate with staff, interns, volunteers and/or contractors as required.
- Participate in meetings with Church & Community Engagement and client service departments to discuss upcoming arrivals and enrollments and brainstorm opportunities to meet program participants' needs.
- Conduct inventory of the warehouse and track items needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping donations neat; sweeping, dusting, and organizing the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Enter received and distributed donations into the Dynamics database.
- Create meaningful engagement opportunities for first‑time and recurring donors to encourage continued giving or volunteer involvement.
- Express appreciation to donors by finding creative ways to thank them and communicate impact.
- Discover new opportunities to receive donated items to increase goods in kind.
- Explore community partnership opportunities for skilled volunteers and donated professional services.
- Oversee automobile donations and ensure appropriate paperwork and DMV requirements are completed.
- Collaborate with various departments to fulfill grant requirements for goods in kind.
- Engage in recurring collaborative & strategic planning meetings at the local and national level.
- As needed: update donation request forms, donation website pages, and provide reports regarding donations to supervisor or as instructed.
- Support Church & Community Engagement department with volunteer and other engagement opportunities.
- Mature and personal Christian faith, and commitment to World Relief’s mission, vision, and values.
- Ability to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief’s Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity, and National Association of Evangelicals' For the Health of the Nation document.
- Ability to work effectively and sensitively with people of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
- Comfortable driving company vehicles, including a box truck.
- Relational skills; interact well with program participants, volunteers, donors and team members.
- Time‑management and prioritization skills; able to organize schedule to complete pressing tasks on time.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Flexibility to adjust to changes in plans.
- Problem‑solving skills; identify possible solutions before presenting to supervisor.
- Conduct yourself in a professional, customer‑service‑oriented manner.
- Organizational skills; expert in data entry (update Dynamics as needed) and computer skills.
- Ability to organize inventory, provide detailed record‑keeping and manage warehouses.
- Driving required to support donation deliveries and community engagement activities.
- At least 1 year of experience in donation coordination, community partnerships, or a related nonprofit development role.
- Knowledge in or experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
