PRN CRNA

Overview

Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing dental implant and fixed-prosthesis center, is looking for a skilled CRNA to join our team at our office in Austin, TX
. We provide implants and full mouth restorations to our patients, with patient satisfaction and well-being as our top priority. At Nuvia, CRNAs are efficient, self-motivated, and place patient safety first. An ideal candidate has experience practicing independently and with nasal intubations; we are willing to train the right candidate. Our CRNAs are respected leaders in a positive, engaging culture with autonomy to work in partnership with the Oral Surgeon.

This is a PRN position. Report at 6:30 for the first surgery starting at 7:00. 1099 contractor.

This role offers opportunity to deliver high-quality dental anesthesia in a collaborative setting while maintaining autonomy and a patient-centered approach.

• Administer anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office-based setting
• Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
• Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
• Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
• Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
• Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment

• Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
• Experience with dental anesthesia is helpful

• Hourly rate: starts at $200 per hour (rates are negotiated based on location and market)
