Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
12‑hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with 4 weekend shifts per schedule. No call required.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg/Tele unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in neuro medical/surgical nursing and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a 30‑bed unit. The nurse will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to patients.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Med Surg/Tele unit.
- Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health management and treatment options.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- BLS certification required.
- IV Certification for LVNs required.
- NIH Stroke Certification preferred.
- ACLS certification is a plus.
