IVF Registered Nurse
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Registered Nurse to manage IVF Coordination.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Answer patient phone calls / triage patient questions and act as the point person for patient contact
- Perform general nursing care to patients. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
- Monitor and maintain a high degree of patient satisfaction.
- Send in patient medications and instruct patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and protocols as prescribed by the physician.
- Ability to schedule basic monitoring appointments, treatments, and procedures. Assessment and triage of patients in emergency situations. Arrange for patient testing and admission.
- Circulate in the OR for fertility procedures PRN.
- Assist with preop and postop of patients undergoing fertility procedures PRN.
- Maintain and review patient records, charts, and pertinent information. Assessment of laboratory and test results for normal and abnormal ranges. Review all labs and tests with physicians and inform patients of results. Document accurate and pertinent information including phone conversations with patients, questions asked and answered, prescriptions called to the pharmacy and reportable labs and tests.
Monday-Friday : 7 : 00am-4 : 00pm. Weekend rotation approx. once every 4 - 5 weeks and occasional holidays will be required.
Education and Experience- Possession of a State Registered Nurse license - valid in Texas
- at least 1 year of IVF experience or OBGYN experience strongly preferred.
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
